Are you new to the country? Looking to make American friends? Would you like to find a host American family? Want to learn some English slang?
You’ll love “An American Picnic” and “An American Christmas”, two events to share our culture with you. We also have a growing number of individuals/families in our American Friends Program which serves to connect internationals to Americans.
An American Picnic

This is a great time to meet other International students, American Students, Play mini-golf, experience a barbecue, and maybe even meet your host family. This is our first event of the semester and is quite popular.

One of your most memorable moments here in the USA will likely be with your American Friends. You will indicate the type of friend you prefer and your availability.

An American Christmas Party

The most celebrated holiday in the USA is most definately Christmas. We will play games, eat food, make candy houses, sing songs and meet new people.

The American Friends Program is designed to help international students experience American culture and life outside the university setting. The program is sponsored by Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship. All students are welcome to participate in activities regardless of their faith tradition.
